This started as an experiment into new techniques in Inkscape, specifically using blurring of shapes rather than defined edges. The face is my favourite piece I have created. I should have finalised it there, though, as I am far from happy with how the rest of the body came out. My personal work ethos keeps me from going back and redoing it; I instead need to take the lessons learnt from this forward.
